Healthy Pecan Pie

Happy Pie Day friends! Super excited to share a new pie recipe on the blog with you today. it is for a Healthy Pecan Pie! Now I usually avoid pecan pie because it's just a sticky layer of sugar and corn syrup. NOT ANYMORE! This recipe uses honey and delicious spices to make a great healthier alternative to the store bought pecan pie. I hope that you try this recipe! Healthy Pecan Pie

 

Ingredients:

 

Method:

  1. Preheat Oven to 400 degrees

  2. In a bowl whisk together all ingredients except the pecans

  3. Mix well until everything is combined

  4. Arrange pecans into the No Butter Pie Crust

  5. Pour wet mixture overtop pecans

  6. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 mins

  7. Reduce oven to 350 and bake pie for 25 minutes or until pie is not longer jiggly

  8. Remove from oven and let it cool completely

  9. Enjoy!

Note: This pie has room to add more! Add a layer of apples on the bottom or some orange zest to add some more flavour to this delicious pie
